Gallo's Pole is the personal group of guitarist Sakis Gallo which combines his favorite 70s influences from blues, funk, rock, performing them with instrumental guitar pieces, based mainly on improvisation.
The first album entitled “BlowJam” that has just been released tries to capture all these influences in 6 tracks that he has composed himself, borrowing elements from the music he has played over the years as well as from music he has heard and explored the last years of his life.
He is accompanied by Giorgos Baltas on drums and Kostas Baxevanis on bass, who perfectly complete this musical puzzle.
The recording, mixing, and mastering were completed by Kostas Kofina at Blueberry Production Co. studio.

Merci Déhà for the download code. Lots of bands use these ingredients – pretty female vocals over doomy guitars always sounds good, but usually that's where the ideas run out. That isn't the case here. Each song is packed with ideas and evolutions, genres and references it's boring to list but not at all to listen to. A pleasure to have been introduced to this. Luke
